NREL Dyna Testing Facility – This 75’ tall ground up steel building is one of two in the Boulder campus of NREL, and these 2 facilities make up 2 of the 6 total in the world. The building is utilized to test wind turbines that generate electricity for maintenance, much like checking the “shimmy” of an out of balance washing machine, only applied to a multi-ton weighing generator.
